Open Positions
The training technician will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs to production personnel focused on quality assurance, defect identification, and issue mitigation. This role is critical in ensuring that all production processes adhere to established standards and that staff are well-equipped to maintain and improve product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Training Development and Delivery:
Design and develop training materials and programs on quality standards, defect identification, and issue mitigation.
Conduct regular training sessions for production personnel on various quality-related topics.
Update training materials as necessary to reflect changes in standards, processes, and best practices.
Quality Standards and Defect Identification:
Educate production staff on quality standards and the importance of adhering to these standards.
Train personnel to identify and understand various types of defects in production processes.
Provide practical examples and case studies to enhance understanding.
Issue Mitigation:
Learn and develop techniques and best practices for mitigating quality issues in production processes.
Facilitate problem-solving sessions and workshops to address specific quality concerns.
Develop and implement corrective action plans in collaboration with production teams.
Evaluation and Reporting:
Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, testing, and performance metrics.
Provide regular reports on training outcomes, identifying areas for improvement.
Collaborate with quality assurance and production management to continuously enhance training programs.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay current with industry trends, standards, and technologies related to quality in production.
Recommend and implement improvements to training programs and production processes.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and quality improvement within the production team.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Bilingual capabilities are a plus.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with production teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Engage potential new customers and existing clients to develop new revenue opportunities around interior glass and markerboard product sales.
- Identify new and emerging markets to help the company capture market share.
- Achieve key performance metrics around revenue growth, new account development, presentations to key stakeholders and others as determined by management.
- Align the overall company quality solutions to the customer’s business needs, challenges, and technical requirements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills: writing, editing, and presenting in-person and virtually.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years successful experience as a direct contributor carrying an individual quota in new business development.
- Will have accomplished the following:
- Experience independently closing individual accounts with revenue potential over $100,000 annually.
- Proven track record of securing specification for specialty products, glass preferred with architects and designers.
- Ability and experience selling to various levels within the potential new client organization.
- Experience managing and directing the entire sales cycle from beginning to close.
- Candidate will be strategic in finding new business using technical knowledge and skillset.
- Creation and execution of quarterly and annual business plans for Senior Leadership.
- Strong management presence, strong communication skills, and credibility.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding assigned annual/quarterly goals and targets.

We are currently searching for a Continuous Improvement Lead at our glass fabrication facility in Van Buren, AR.

This individual is responsible for assisting with the strategic development, management, and execution of our continuous improvement objectives. In this hands-on role, this person will coordinate the effort to support operations by implementing and sustaining Lean Manufacturing processes aimed at improving line efficiency/process optimization, product quality, labor utilization, layout optimization and operating costs for both existing and new products.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Train and develop manufacturing support team to establish and ensure achievement of goals.
- Lead the implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles throughout the manufacturing process. Contribute to and assist with Continuous Improvement/Kaizen activities throughout the plant.
- Identify, plan, manage and execute continuous improvement actions that reduce cost, cycle time, and lead time while increasing safety, quality, and repeatability.
- Organize and coordinate Kaizen activities, including the planning and execution of Kaizen events/teams which includes the collection and preparation of proper prerequisite data for each kaizen event. Monitor and report on 90-day sustainment of Kaizen event improvements.
- Prepare standard work documents for new and existing manufacturing processes.
- Lead projects and working teams to effectively initiate, plan, execute, monitor and close projects.
- Train employees on Continuous Improvement techniques as needed to assure complete familiarity and ease of use. This includes Principles of Lean Manufacturing, Takt Time, Standard Work, 5S, Standard Work Cell Layout, Value Stream Mapping and other Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement techniques.
- Implement and monitor sustainable visual management programs throughout the plant, including 5S, schedule adherence, and other shop floor reporting.
- Support plant-wide Safety initiatives.

Requirements:
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years of manufacturing experience
- Minimum of three (3) years Lean Manufacturing experience (Lean certification is a plus)

- Time Study and labor standards experience
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods

General Requirements:
- Highly motivated individual able to self-direct their role in maintenance.
- Repair and maintain all equipment and infrastructure associated with the fabrication of glass products. Diagnose problems with the equipment and make necessary repairs and updates to the equipment.
- Work on various duties as assigned duties in industrial maintenance.
- Highly focused on maintaining all equipment, facilities, and the company’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Help build, use, and maintain the company’s CMMS.
- Ability to rebuild components associated with repairs, as is necessary and in a cost-effective manner.
- Fabricate repair parts using shop equipment.
- Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) on a daily basis. Analyze the data from the PM’s and make recommendations for the purchase of parts and upkeep needed to prevent untimely breakdowns.
- Must have good communication skills with the ability to discuss the issues and receive recommendations from OEM’s.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform all work with SAFETY as an essential and mandatory part of the role.
- Must be able to work in a Scheduled “ON CALL” System to assure all shifts have required Maintenance as needed.
