Dillmeier Glass is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The CNC Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring computer numerical control (CNC) machinery used to fabricate architectural glass products. This position requires a strong commitment to quality, safety, and productivity while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machinery according to production schedules and work orders.
• Load and unload glass materials safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret work orders, technical drawings, and production specifications.
• Verify measurements and inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications.
• Make minor machine adjustments to maintain proper operation and product quality.
• Monitor machine performance and report equipment issues or maintenance needs promptly.
• Perform routine machine cleaning and preventative maintenance as assigned.
• Maintain accurate production records and report completed work.
• Follow all company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean and organized work area using good housekeeping practices.
• Collaborate with supervisors, quality personnel, and other team members to meet production goals.
• Assist in training new employees as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3+ Yrs of previous CNC machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Experience in the glass industry is a plus but not required.
• Ability to read tape measures, calipers, and production drawings accurately.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.

Working Conditions

• Manufacturing environment with exposure to moving machinery, glass materials, dust, and noise.

• Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production demands.

We are currently searching for an Industrial Maintenance Technician to work on-site at our glass fabrication facility in Van Buren, AR.

General Requirements

• Highly motivated individual able to self-direct their role in maintenance.
• Repair and maintain all equipment and infrastructure associated with the fabrication of glass products. Diagnose problems with the equipment and make necessary repairs and updates to the equipment.
• Work on various duties as assigned duties in industrial maintenance.
• Highly focused on maintaining all equipment, facilities, and the company’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Help build, use, and maintain the company’s CMMS.
• Ability to rebuild components associated with repairs, as is necessary and in a cost-effective manner.
• Fabricate repair parts using shop equipment.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) on a daily basis. Analyze the data from the PM’s and make recommendations for the purchase of parts and upkeep needed to prevent untimely breakdowns.
• Must have good communication skills with the ability to discuss the issues and receive recommendations from OEM’s.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform all work with SAFETY as an essential and mandatory part of the role.
• Must be able to work in a Scheduled “ON CALL” System to assure all shifts have required Maintenance as needed.

Specifics

Must be well-versed in the following major operating structures.

• Electrical AC and DC systems

• PLC’s

• Hydraulic, Pneumatic, & Mechanical systems

Additional Skills

• Candidates must complete all safety training and make recommendation to improve company safety program as appropriate. Must use “Lockout Tag Out” and “Fall Protection” programs in performance of the job duties.
• Knowledge of common tools and equipment needed in the performance of the duties for Industrial Maintenance.

Job history

Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Industrial Maintenance Field.

Education and Experience

Associates Degree in Maintenance, Industrial, Electronics, or Engineering Technology preferred. In lieu of formal education additional experience in the field is required.
